November 17th, 2011 - Pete Paquette
Two years after graduating from Ringling in 2003, and interning for Lucas Arts, Pete became an animator for Blue Sky Studios. It was there that he got to work on Blockbuster films such as Robots, Iceage, and Rio. Pete specializes in great character animation as well as storyboard art. He is also a very down to earth guy, and will be more than happy to answer any questions that people may throw his way. Check out his work at:

October 27th, 2011 - Anders Beer
Anders is an industry professional and has worked at various studios including, Disney, Sony Imageworks, Dreamworks and many more. He has an extensive list of movies he has worked on as well such as, Shrek, Chicken Little, Hellboy II, Spawn and Open Season to name a few. His most recent venture was as the supervising animator on the Paramount Picture movie "Paul"

Game Developer and founder of Ananse Productions. They are a game company that wants to redefine who the "gamer" is. They believe that the video game industry, has a very narrow idea of what a gamer should be. Ananse Productions wants to solve this by making games that bring more people to the table.
They just released Stem Stumper a blind-accessible puzzle game.

Two artists from Neoscape came in with 2 separate tutorials that opened up entirely new possibilities in the minds of NEIA's "3D-er's." One topic touched on how to light a scene by over-exposing an image in Photoshop; then using that same image to light your scene in 3DS MAX without creating a single omni or spotlight.

March 17, 2010 - Ron Friedman
Ron Friedman- Head of Animations Department for Tencent Boston.
Ron comes from a performance background with over 17 years of experience as an animator. He has worked in feature animations (The Pagemaster, Swan Princess), visual effects animation (Van Helsing, Lemony Snicket, The Mist, Snakes On A Plane), and videogame animation (City of Heroes, Adam Blaster.) Ron was also Animation Supervisor for the Academy Award-winning film “Pan’s Labyrinth” and was Animation Director on the videogame “Afro Samurai.”
